SCSI2SD - starting over

I created a 2GB SCSI device on the SCSI2SD v5.1. Formatted (using Lido in 7.5.3 boot floppy on a Mac II) and Mac II only recognizes about ~175 MB.

I want to start over -- i.e. I want to 'delete' this SCSI device and add it again with a size of say 200MB only.

How do I do this? I see no options in "scsi2sd-util" utility to remove a SCSI device and re-add it. 

is the answer that I need to wipe the SD card, or destroy the created volume on the SD card first? Then resize the SCSI device down to the alternative size, then reformat using Lido?

Your Mac II should be able to work with partitions that are slightly less than 2GB in size.

In order to try reconfiguring everything, I would first recommend reformatting the SD Card completely with Disk Utility. When you set up your card again, you will need to create a partition on it small enough not to confuse your Mac II. If you have a modern Mac or Linux computer, I have had success following this guide: http://www.codesrc.com/mediawiki/index.php/HFSFromScratch.

The guide explains how to create a disk image with all of the necessary drivers on your modern computer and then copy it onto your SD card. As you already have a way to boot from floppy disks, you could ignore the sections about copying an emulated image onto the SD card, and just create a blank disk image that you can install OS7 onto later. The 3686496 sectors mentioned as an example roughly translate to a 1.9GB file which would work well with a Mac II.

OK so this worked for me, thank you kindly for the suggestion, hope I got the steps OK:

1- took the SD card (which had the partition which was oversized) ---- put into this older powerbook (10.4.11), used Disk Utility to 'Erase' it as Mac OS Extended(journaled) -- I wasn't 100% sure if I should do journaled but no problem encountered so far...

2-

using a Debian laptop, plugged in the SD card...

downloaded hfdisk (snapshot link, latest version), unzip, untar, compiled (make -f Makefile) which built the binary, downloaded lido.img also,

3- 

per instructions @ http://www.codesrc.com/mediawiki/index.php/HFSFromScratch.  (step 2)

ran 'dd' to create 'disk.img', ran the ./hfdisk program verbatim

4- did (step 3) dd command to overlay the 'lido.img' onto the 1st part of 'disk.img'

(skipped 'step 4')

5- did (step 5) write the 'disk.img' onto the sd card itself (the device was something like /dev/mmcblk0p3 in my case -- got this by viewing /etc/mtab) - super fast & done

6- Plugged scsi2sd to PC, (put SD card in the scsi2sd device too) -- ran scsi2sd-util.exe and changed SCSI device to size of 1.8GB (was 2.0GB previously) - wrote this to the device

7- Plugged scsi2sd v5.1 to Mac II (SCSI power only), booted 7.5.3 floppy, ran lido from 2nd floppy, 
lido shows SCSI 0:

Device: 1843 MB Hard Disk Drive

Volume(s): Uninitialized
clicked Format,  (success)

Partition menu, choose 'Maximum Mac Setup ...' (success)
then 'Initialize' button (success), chose icon,

Then 'Mac Volume' appears on desktop ---- size shows "1,840.9 MB available'  (Yay good)

From this point, I was able to install system 6.0.8 and so far I am having good results
