SCSI Chip Verification

I bought this exact same item from this exact same seller almost 5 years ago to replace the corroded SCSI chip in my IIx and it worked like a charm. I'm guessing the SE/30 uses the same chip too...

 
That’s the chip in my SE/30 for sure. 
 

By the way, are you sure there’s a problem with your chip and not eg corroded traces nearby?

I’m willing to try a new chip, for two reasons:

One, I buzzed and traces out every-single-trace I could from the schematic and they seem all good.

Two, I remember this board being bad some ~20 years ago because of this same gray screen issue when I put it into storage. I think I may have pulled off a SCSI device with the machine on.
