Saw an SE Ethernet Card on Ebay

No relationship or knowledge of the seller. I was browsing Vintage Apple and figured someone here would probably be interested.

I have two SE's with Ethernet card. One 3Com EtherLink/SE and a Novell card. Both are "sort of working". They have problems under System 7.0 with AppleTalk. I only get it working when I firts start a MacTCP connection.

I have two more cards new in a box. I bought them 15 years ago.... Still keeping them for my next SE's....

Why would you buy 2 ethernet cards 15 years ago (expensive) and never use them?

1) they where not expensive. $10 each

2) I will have more SE's one day

3) Should I sell / trow away everything I don't use immediately ....

Good price, I figured they were a few hundred new back then which is why I wondered why you would buy them and not use them.
