Rubber Feet Replacements

I've been putting together a small collection of Classic Macs and peripherals, and one of the small irritants that I always run into is missing rubber feet.

For example, the grey feet on the Compact Macs and the M0110/M0110A keyboards, or the rectangular rubber feet on the floppy drives, or the longer rounded rectangular feet on the M0116 keyboard for my SE.

Has anyone found suitable replacements or worked up alternatives?

There's a guy on eBay who sells replacements . . . but I have a sneaking suspicion that they're just the kind you buy at a home improvement store.

I just got a pack of clear ones: 6 large/6small for about three bucks . . . but I'm not a purist. :o)

The rectangular feets are just a bit more problematic, but I've got a recipe for laminating orange rubber replacements if you're interested.

I've had no troubles finding a comparable replacement at Bunnings (large hardware store like Home Depot in the States), have a look at a place like that. An electronic supply store may also sell them.

Yes. When they were designing the 128K a designer at Apple had custom rubber feet created with little apples stamped into the bottom. One of the new hires came in and saw this and pointed out that they could have a custom color on stock rubber feet in the size they needed for pennies on the cost, saving a bundle. Jobs immediately approved it and put a stop to the little Apples that the designers were putting on everything from the software to the hardware. Bottom line, yes these feet are a standard size available at most hardware stores, probably in a nice complementary beige or gray color (PMS 453 and apple Platinum are probably too much to ask).
