I'm having the same issue on both Quadras. The 660av is using it's built-in ethernet with a Farallon AAUI-RJ45 transceiver, and the 605 is using an Asante PDS Ethernet card. Both are running System 7.6.1. At boot, the TCP/IP control panel will report a valid DHCP address, but after about 30 seconds, it will revert back to "will be supplied by server". At the same time, ping on another machine will begin saying "request timeout". If I set a static address, I get ping replies until about 30 seconds after boot, after which the Mac stops responding. I've tried connecting it directly to my router (a current-gen Airport Extreme), and through a Farallon Starlet 10Mbps hub. I've also tried connecting to an old Airport Extreme UFO base station, but nothing changes. Am I missing something?
