My 15" PowerBook, running Leopard, has recently been showing some weird problem. In the Energy Saver prefs for both Power Adapter and Battery settings, I have it set so as not to dim the screen before display sleep.
However, the screen still dims after a few minutes of machine inactivity, no matter which power source I'm using. I checked Energy Saver after it happened, and the aforementioned box was still unchecked.
A PMU reset didn't fix it, PRAM reset didn't fix it.
Any suggestions? It's not an emergency, but it is a bit annoying; I generally don't like the screen dimming when I don't tell it to.
