after installing RAM in my PowerBook 520, i seemed to have noticed something. Which I am not certain if it was there before or not, but the screen seems to adjust the contrast constantly. Even if I press around the buttons or the screen, it still does it. No change.
The buttons work and it will increase/decrease the contrast and the brightness, but it is constantly switching from higher to lower or even higher to higher contrasts and is quite annoying. Did I do something wrong when I opened this up? Would I have done something to the cable?
The only thing I touched was the bracket over the keyboard, removed the keyboard and lifted the shield over the CPU to put the ram in.
Is the cable going to the screen having problems?
