PowerBook 165c Chimes of Death

Hi All

I've recently acquired a PowerBook 165c (in parts), complete apart from HD and Battery. The catch is that the display cable is snapped in half. When turned on it does the Mac chime followed shortly after by the chimes of death. I've reseated the RAM and the processor card and there doesn't seem to be any electrocyte caps... Any ideas ?

Leave it plugged in. The soldered on pram battery inside the unit is messing things up. Then unplug and plug back in tomorrow and it might start right up. My 150 does it so does my 170.
