Hello
I have a PMG4 Quicksilver whose power supply (PSU) emits some clicking noises while it is shutdown but plugged into the wall outlet. When the machine is running I can identify the same clicking. The machine otherwise works as expected.
I would like to replace the PSU but am wondering if I can replace the PSU from another PowerMac G4 model or if the Quicksilver PSUs were unique to the extent that I can't just use a different G4 model's PSU.
Kind regards
—Alex
PS If you would like me to make a recording of the audio clicking I can do so but at the moment the environment is too noisy to isolate the sound.
