PM 8100 PRAM battery replacement how to?

I opened my 8100/100. I received today the 1/2AA PRAM batteries.

As I look into the 8100 with the outer casing removed, I do not see the battery.

Do I have to remove more to have access to the battery?

Thank you.

You have to remove the logic board on the 8100 in order to do virtually anything.  Giant pain in the neck, that case.

Almost surprised you don't have to remove the logic board to boot up.

Be careful removing the power/reset button thingy (if I'm remembering right).  It was breakable twenty years ago and I'm sure it's not any better now.

Undo all the cables, remove a screw in the middle of the board, and you should be good to go.
