Trying to bring a PowerBook Duo 270C/DuoDoc combo I’ve owned since 94 back to life.
With the laptop inserted I plug in the unit and push the power up key on my keyboard. Unit starts to boot up - satisfying hard drive clicking sounds begin, small mac symbol appears on the grey screen (using a sanyo projector for a monitor using a HD15 to VGA converter) then the larger Mac logo pops up. A few seconds of this and the whole system powers down.
ive tried booting with extensions off (holding down shift key) - no change. Resetting P Ram - no change.
Seeking new ideas on how to fix this.
