While working on another project I thought it would be best to double check some info on how the Sun Remarketing SCSI card for the Lisa would behave with the Lisa Office System.
According to the Lisa FAQ, not only can you not boot directly from the card without a ROM upgrade (and it isn't jsut a simple reburn of the chip) but the Lisa Office System has absolutely no support for SCSI at all. It's strictly a Macintosh XL thing and slow Macintosh Pluses don't tickle my fancy. :-/
Has there at all been any attempt to patch in SCSI support or has everyone just been buying Widget emulators and questionable condition Profiles to get LOS running? The SCSI cards are are more than half the cost of even a Widget emulator and you can build them from off the shelf parts.
