I just scored 7 brand new Farallon PhoneNet adapters for 50 cents each. If I can manage to scrounge up a couple more vintage Macs, I'm gonna host a LAN party with some friends and force them to play a few rounds of Bolo over AppleTalk. 
I also found a brand new (still in shrinkwrap) Apple brand AppleTalk adapter; the kind that used the serial cable. That was only $5.
