MP 120 Won't Boot

I was using it, removed a US Robotics Megahertz 33.6 modem and it just turned off.  I reset it and got a few configurations of vertical lines, but it will not actually boot to NewtonOS.  Any thoughts are welcome.  It worked fine from when I got around 1998 until today...  sad...

I have tried removing the internal battery to no avail.

Oh also worth noting that the contrast knob seems to have no effect.

Did you try a full brainwipe?

Yea - a few times.  But I can't see anything on the screen so I don't know how far, if at all, it's getting in that process.

Likely a short. I'll update when I open the MP tonight, hopefully.
