Mountain Lion and Classic Macs

Got back from vacation this past weekend and was able to give Mountain Lion a whirl.

Really just good news to report so far. Nothing concerning Classic Macs seems to have changed from Lion. I can confirm that Mountain Lion still recognizes Classic Mac Apps for what they are (sees the resource fork), the Finder still decodes HQX and BIN files, the BinHex and Macbinary command line tools are still present for encoding.

I can also confirm that AFP doesn't now magically work with OS 9 or earlier. No surprise there.

Got a warm and fuzzy feeling when my Mac 512k and Mountain Lion said hi to each other through FTP. No surprise there either.

Besides that, no news is good news!
