Making those old Appearance Themes work in OS9?

I found a post somewhere the other day with a pic of OS9 with the Hi-Tech theme. I got the impression that the guy who posted it had hacked the original theme files to make them load in the Appearance control panel (rather than using one of the Kaleidoscope ports). Anyone have any idea how I'd go about doing that?

So after some more digging through dusty cdrs I realise that the themes load fine without any hacking. The problem was that I was using the themes from 8.2. I have Gizmo from 8.5b6 but I don't have Hi-Tech and can't seem to find it anywhere either. Does anyone have a copy of it lying around? The sound sets would be great too (I'm missing the Gizmo one).

They're 8.5b6 and not 8.2d8. Work a treat!

I've got Gizmo, Hi-Tech, Paper, an Aqua theme, an OpenStep theme, and one called "DSG Theme" around somewhere. I might have some others, too. Let me know if you want me to post them somewhere. I could probably put them up on the http://www.PPCMLA.com/downloads/

Thanks for the offer Drew but I have those already. I grabbed a lot of that stuff from Resexcellence and HL servers years ago. Strange that I missed Hi-tech though.
