Macintosh XL Model Number?

What's the model number for the Macintosh XL? M0001 is the 128K, M0001E was the 512K and M0001A is the Plus. Did the Mac XL have a Macintosh model number? It fell somewhere in between the 512K & Plus in terms of capability. Did it continue to have an Apple model number after it was re-badged?

It's a start ... but that article I came across during a Google search seems to imply that number belongs to an original Lisa or Lisa 2 that has been upgraded, in fact, past XL standards. Using that model number and performing another Google search seems to turn up only more Lisa 1s.
