Macintosh Plus and ROM-inator

Alright, anyone have their Plus set up with a ROM-inator?  If so, how complex was the soldering job?  The site says some assembly required :)  Just want to get a gauge of how complex this will be before tossing down $30, since my soldering skills are beginner level at best.

The idea of having a bootable 6.0.8 ROM disk with a couple games, as well as the Apple CD-ROM, AppleTalk, and Iomega Zip Driver sounds incredibly convenient.

Installed and running, amazingly enough.

My soldering is probably on par with what our site pros would have done when they were 5 years old. Somehow; all the connections work enough to boot :) it took me around 2 hours to install.

Now to figure out how to cram everything I need into 846k or whatever it is... I have 4MB of ram. I wonder if there is a way to do compression with the image to fit more into it line with the ROM-inator II.

My goal is:

Basic system 6.0.8 + AppleShare/Chooser

Moire cdev screensaver

Iomega 4.2 Guest driver

Disk First Aid

And the rest of the space with games.

Lido takes up way too much space.

Axe the games. a ROM disk needs the system, utilities, tools, etc..

Games and software should go on a ZIP disk or a floppy/hard disk. Allowing the system to boot from rom and contain the Zip driver could come in handy to access the rest on disk.

Haha priorities I suppose. I only occasionally would need Lido. Games however are the primary use of the computer :) if I can rock a few already on the system then that is good. Definitely keep the zip driver on board though for accessing everything else. Maybe I can change around the games and/or slim down the system folder a bit more some how to fit Lido.
