I have a Macintosh classic ii rev a. I can boot normally from a floppy disk and it seems fine when reading data but when I start writing or after I format the disc and it tries to mount then it stops working and freezes. But when I load and install floppy those work and this is giving me really inconsistent results. I'm also 99% sure the hard drive is fine and working properly because I tested it on my other Mac.
