Hello. I'm looking for some info regarding my Plus. Seems to me that mine is facing that video dropout problem: after running for 10 minutes (sometimes less) there is some silent chirping sound and the display loses it's output (while the Plus seems to work).
I know that there is some solution mentioned about resoldering some Pin 1 of some connector but I don't have any "in detail" description. Is there any description / documentation out there maybe with some photographs?
After reading the georgeous documentation about compact Macs (the difference between Rev A and Rev B boards and else) I thought about another solution just in case the re-soldering thing won't work: I'm owning an SE which lacks any drive so I don't have any use for it besides spare part delivery. Just in case the repair of the Plus will fail: can I exchange the video board and maybe even the tube of the Plus from the ones of the SE?
Any hint is very welcome!
