Mac Classic online via EN/SC and DD-WRT flashed WAP

So pleased.

After many years on dial-up I finally got a DSL broadband connection and looking at my lonely little Mac Classic I just wanted to get it hooked up to my new high speed connection.

I already had a Mini EN/SC, a Netgear 10BASE-T Ethernet Hub and a Linksys WAP54G and I 'almost' bought a wireless/ethernet bridge before stumbling on the DD-WRT software.

So after a bit of thought I succumbed to temptation and flashed my WAP with the dd-wrt software - but spent the next three nights trying to set it up!, and could almost type 192.168.1.1 in my sleep before having a *hallelujah* moment on seeing a bounce page in my NCSA Mosaic browsers window.

For me it's a big one on par with getting Pear pc to work for the first time.

Reliving the dream,

Col
