iPod won't turn off

Hey guys...this morning my iPod refuses to turn off. I hold the play/pause button, and nothing happens. It's a v5.5 video. There doesn't seem to be any software option to power off in the menus either.

Leaving it for a few minutes doesn't cause it to power off automatically? Is it frozen? You may have to reset it (IIRC you hold down the centre button and Menu)
