Internal floppy drives not working on Mac SE

Hi all, I can't get the internal floppy drive to work, it has been rebuilt but will not read a disk. The external drive works just fine, but not the internal. I have two of these 800K drives and neither one will read, so I am guessing the internal FDC is not working with the drives, or either I have two bad drives, which seems suspect since all other drives I have worked on have been good. Thanks for your help!

Swap in the drive from the external enclosure temporarily and see if it works internally. That will tell you if it’s the drives or the board.
