I just got a IIe to IIgs upgrade board for $75. Gonna keep an eye out for the case.

Or, you can modify an Apple IIe base's backpanel for the ports. Won't be as pretty as the original kit, but it'll let you use the board without losing access to said ports or having to put it in a regular IIgs.

Don't think I'd wanna do that with my IIe. It's brand new. Maybe I can find an older beater that I can modify. I think I'll hit the surplus stores this weekend.
