Identifying ADB dongles

I's still sorting through that massive load of stuff I got months ago and I have started to accumulate several HASP and EVE ADB security dongles. The brands themselves are useless because they pretty much made the dongles for whoever needed them and they are not marked with what software package they are intended for (or they were but the tape that they had written on has fallen off or was removed). Is there a way to read back the dongle itself (or as much as the embedded security features will allow) so I can find out what the dongles were made for?

Interesting request. I'm also wondering the same. I have a HASP ADB dongle and a Microguard ADB dongle and would love to know what software they were for...
