FDHD dead motor

I just got done cleaning up an FDHD from an SE. It wouldn't inject a disk before but now it does. However, when it started up – possibly for the first time in years – the little motor at the back (not the eject motor) started smoking. I can only assume it was seized up. Is this drive completely useless now, or is it possible to replace the motor?

Thanks!

Does the read head motor try and move at all anymore? It can be removed/replaced independently but it would probably be easier to find a whole replacement drive than just the motor.
