Does anyone have a boxed copy of A-Train?

I bought a copy of A-Train on eBay, and my disks are funky.  I'm not asking for a copy of the game, I just want to compare my disks to someone else's.  I compared it to the copy on Macintosh Garden, and it appears identical.  But I don't know if my disks were copied from that.

My labels are wrong.  The "B&W" disk has the color resources, and my "Color" disk has the B&W resources.  I guess it's possible the game came that way, but it seems unlikely.

Also, one disk is labeled "A-train" and the other is "Atrain" (no hyphen) just like the copy on Macintosh Garden ... except the contents are the opposite.

I do. Here are some photos. Disk 1 is damaged and actually causes my powerbook to freeze? But not too long ago I was able to get images of all the disks before that started happening.



As you can see, the naming discrepancy is consistent. However, the disks themselves are not labeled one way or the other (apart from the Disk numbers and the Construction Set).

Oh, OK.  They were just sloppy when making the game disks.  That's a relief and also amusing.  Couldn't even get the labels right. :lol:

Mine is missing the Construction Set disk, though.  Shucks.

It may be that yours didn't come with it. Does your box have a FREE INSIDE! banner in the upper left?

@Iesca Mine look different from yours.  Also, nothing about a construction set either inside or outside my box.  So maybe I have an earlier version than you.

That's what it sounds like. That's really interesting! I wonder if it was just yours that got mislabeled or what. But you did say the disk images at the garden were the same?

They appeared to be the same, but I don't recall if I checked the version number.
