Conductive Epoxy

Any suggestions of which conductive epoxy to get - for two purposes: 1) connecting axial leads to a battery (just a thought); and 2) to connect a series of batteries to rebuild a PB 5300c battery pack.

Thanks

I've been looking for a better method to replace batteries in cartridge based games for awhile now. This might be it. Subscribing to see what ideas you get.

I never had any problems doing it.

You supposed to use a piercing punch style welder to put tabs on a battery.

Batteries Plus does it.

Conductive epoxy isn't all that conductive...   It will probably add a few ohms of resistance, at least.  In my experience... Perhaps I was doing it wrong.

I suspect you're right.  The impetus for this thread was that the only specs I could find involved resistance, which I didn't understand.

I'm still not very comfortable soldering them, although I do have holders on the way, so I could theoretically just tape them in sequence and put them into the holder that way.  I'm not sure why someone had counterindicated that.  It seems logical to me.
