A lot of people forget this version. It's sort of an intermediate between the classic MacWrite and MacWrite II in the fact it has a spell checker and requires at least a 512Ke. Think of it as the Works 2.0 word processing module with a few features swapped out (no mail merge or macros though).
Anyhow, I found a boxed copy in the very early Claris packaging circa 1988. As a bonus, I also got a bunch of MacWorld BCS game disks!
While the MacWrite is what I was after, I'm about to lose a lot of hours to the Mac SE or whichever one I decide to play with here...
