If you had 19 Pluses or SE's, you could max them out...failing that though...4MB SIMMs are much more useful.

So long as you have a Memory Expansion board for the Classic, you'll have no trouble using 2 of those SIMMs in it. (the Classic has 1MB onboard, another MB on the memory expansion board, and two empty SIMM slots)

if i had the quadra 900 i could do a whopping 16 meg ram

I think it's a good deal, and they don't take up much space. Probably more than you'll ever need (unless you get a lot of the old machines that could be maxed out with them as mentioned before), but they sound like a good thing to hold onto for future trades or sales.

Then again, I've got hoarding tendencies when it comes to Apple stuff. I've got a whole box of NOS microphones in the basement as one of many examples...

thank you sir, hey i still need that psu and nic for that lc i was working on .. its sitting looking at men, it says fix me !

i also now need a video board that goes on the back of the tube for a mac se, this one is shot.. Horizontal lines, and the floppy disk icon is very faint!
