Bondi Blue iMac

And I should be getting a purple one tomorrow ;D

It's just the computer. No power cable, keyboard, mouse, or any other goodies unless you count the kindergarten game disk that was left in the cd tray :-/ I borrowed a power cable from one of my other Macs and started it up to see how it would run. First time I started it was unusual. It did the happy mac chime, sad mac chime, then happy mac again. It loaded and ran just fine after than. Now it doesn't turn on first try for some odd reason. I have to turn it on, wait a while, turn it off, then turn it on for it to chime then boot. But other than that, I finally have a computer I've wanted since I was only 6 or 7 when it first came out :)

Right now my plans are to figure out how to open it so it can get a good dusting. Then I gotta try and find OS 9, possibly X, so I can format the hard drive and do a good clean install.

If you want to run OSX on it, make sure you do the firmware update first. I've got my BB dual booting MOS9.2.2 and OSX 10.3.9

The iMac for me was the turning point in Apple desktop design. Unfortunately desktop models went downhill again when they released the cheese grater Power Macs G5s, but at least the iMac range has always been interesting, though the latest iMacs are a tad boring.
