Just got a BlueSCSI v2 as the internal board. Works fantastic*. What is the goal of the PC-floppy power connector on the board as it does not seem to need it in my SE/30.
(* except for one w/ SCSI HD I have that works without the Blue -- would that be a power issue?)
The bluescsi can run off the termination power of the SCSI bus, but in cases where the termination power is not available or is insufficient the external power input is there. In a SE/30, you shouldn't need to use the power input.
Your issue with the one HD is probably a SCSI ID conflict. Try changing either the bluescsi's emulated SCSI ID or jumpers on the drive to change the drive's SCSI ID.
Thanks - re the disk, I wonder if it's the power, I'll try to power the BlueSCSI to see if this works as the BlueSCSI is not the termination device, the disk is.
