Asanté's adapters are wondrously useful little boxes, indeed. My 512Ke, Plus, Classic and Classic II are all able to talk to their newer cousins because of the EN/SC boxes. I almost had the 512Ke talking on an Asanté LocalTalk/EN adapter but that I found a SCSI add-on for it, which in turn enabled it to use EN/SC also. A good score on your part. The good thing is that Asanté tapped into the PB market as well as the desktop Macs.
