Yesterday a Bondi was advertised for free... well sort of, because it was described as an Apple CRT display...and not working unit
I already have one of those (well two to be honest... the second one has a faulty Logic Board) so i didn't sent an e-mail.
Ok, but Today the Bondi was still there, staring at me
so i sent an e-mail and get a reply (the Bondi was mine)
As a no worker, i will probably be able to get some parts (a working Logic bard, Ram, HD...) and maybe the side port cover which is missing from the two units i already have.
The Imac was partly dismantled (missing screws, and connectors removed from the logic board) but once home i give it a try (put everything back together) and ...it booted straight to Mac Os 8.
The best thing, this one has the side port cover :
I will not keep it, i already have one and a slot-in as well, but i have removed the cover !! (not easy to remove, i have not been able to put it back yet)
Oh, by the way i have tested the good logic board in the non-worker Bondi... and for sure it worked also.
