I went back down memory lane and revisited this game that I had back in the day in the halcyon years of having so few choices (a handful) of software that you would have time to turn every stone in each of them. AAoW was one of those.
I was inspired to capture the gaming session straight from my Mac Plus with my RGB2HDMI because I found a local facebook ad for big boxed PC games - I grabbed a dozen boxes, which included the 1984 IBM PC compatible version of it. Any port of that game had the same ring bound manual for it so it was alright.



I remember playing the sequel quite a bit more too, Ancient Art of War at Sea, but that's a story (and video) for another day.
