800k Drive Not Ejecting

I have an external 800k floppy drive that was not ejecting. It was not a problem with the gears, rather the motor was not running at all. So I figured it was a bad motor. To test this I took a good motor (the identical Omron R2DG-31) and put it in and the motor was still not turning. Anyone know the reason why an eject motor could seemingly not be receiving the eject signal? I am not intelligent enough in electrical engineering to be able to understand a schematic so I have not been able to figure out the reason on my own. I will also point out that the drive reads just fine if that is any clue.

Probably a chip on the board, can have a look.

The eject command is on pin 9 of the connector, then you have got the Q7 transistor (BV4) now 2SB624, probably this one is bad.
