I have a PowerBook 1400, and sometimes, when I plug it in to AC power, it doesn't recognise that I have done so! It gets a draw from the adapter only about 75% of the time, and the battery isn't doing so hot. I love this machine, and any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, I was wondering if it was possible to accrue USB functionality on a 1400 through the use of PC cards, and if so, what is the make and model of the card?

I figured it would have been through 68k emulation, I mean, one can run games written for the 68k architechture on PPC, why not A/UX?

I have in my posession a Power Mac 7300 with a G3/500, 176 MB of memory, and a 2 gig hard disk. What would 68kMLA suggest in terms of the latest Fedora Core installable on this configuuration? I would also like to keep OS 9, if possible. A/UX is an option.

Hello, I have a Power Mac 7300/200 running OS 9.0.4 with 48 megs of memory. Currently, the processor in this machine is a 604e, but I recently purchased a Sonnet G3 upgrade from the internet. How much better should I expect my machine to run?

You're not going to get USB under 7.6.1. In fact, I would recommend OS 8.6 *at least* to get USB. Earlier than that, it's rough finding drivers.
