Schematics & part list for 128K/512K/Plus International Analog Board

Hello, The schematics with part numbers of the US Analog Board for the 128K/512K/Plus is widely available and used as reference in the various repair-books. But does anyone know if and where to find these schematics with part numbers and part list for the International variant?

Re-capped MacPlus analog board - no vertical sweep

My 50cts on it: Did you check all this with an oscilloscope? Or with just a multimeter? The amplitude of the signal from the LM324 is actually quite low. I recently fixed a 512K with vertical sweep issue. In this case; With my scope I noticed ok base-signal but NOK emitter-signal from Q1...

    End of battery-bombed SE/30 restoration?

A.o. based on your inputs I decided as a last resort to de-solder the CPU and see if the short can be isolated to the CPU. I am not done desoldering the CPU but I have managed to establish that the short is not in the CPU so it must be in the PCB itself. As I have another SE/30 project which...

    End of battery-bombed SE/30 restoration?

Yes it seems we have a similar issue, Like you, and after extensive searches, I have not been able to find the trace layouts of the original PCB in the public domain, set aside if this would really contribute to remedy this particular problem. I imagine that any short in adress-lines will stop...

    End of battery-bombed SE/30 restoration?

Thanks Kouzi, I was not aware of this difference between battery acid and capacitor electrolyte. Sincy my board did hardly (not?) suffer from leaking capacitors, this unfortunately would confirm that removing PCD and/or CPU for further cleaning will most likely not provide a solution. I have...

    End of battery-bombed SE/30 restoration?

Around April’24 I started a project to restore a battery-bombed SE/30. Having established that all other part of the machine are functional within specs, I obviously focused on the logic board. I have thoroughly cleaned the logic board (immersed in vinegar, IPA, soapy water, rinsed with water)...

Just got a Macintosh 512k and I have some questions

No, it is not. Retrobright is a hydrogen peroxide-based process, accelarated by exposure to UV light. It is a next-step on top of cleaning (with or without active oxigen). Check You-Tube; lots of information available on retro-brighting. But I recommend to start with a good clean first.

Just got a Macintosh 512k and I have some questions

In addition to Cheesestraws reply; cleaner with active Oxigen works like a charm! I disassembled my compact Macs to the bare plastic parts. Then I immersed the parts fully in a plastic container filled with warm water with Active-oxigen-cleaner (different brand names depending on where you...

    Battery bombed SE/30 resurrection

Thanks finkmac and flux capacitor for sharing your experiences. In the mean time I have decided to proceed restoration of all other elements, then test it and then to decide what to do with the Glue chip and perhaps eventually also the CPU. And in the mean time get some experiences with...

    Battery bombed SE/30 resurrection

Congratulations and great work so far! I have quite similar project under hands currently. For now I am still in the phase of visual inspection, cleaning, measuring, repairing traces and vias and (potentially) damaged IC's. I have not yet switched it on. How did you remove the Glue IC? Like...
