it is common to find incompatibilities between the different versions? open to multi booting the thing. just assumed 7.6.1 would be the most stable and have the most application support.

I have actually been wanting to try the LC III plus mod so will most likely do that soon wanted to get the thing stable first before i started mucking about. had no idea it could actually run 8.0.

I switched to an pre made image of 7.1.1 and it works fine so good to know its a software issue and not hardware. Was too caught up thinking it was a board issue that software issue didn't even come to mind.

had a go of this but still pretty new to retro mac stuff so might not be uninstalling properly before reinstalling it. so far still having the same issue. using a bluescsi so might try installing an older version of system 7 and installing quicktime from scratch and see how it goes.

Recently resurrected my old lc3 from the dead. The system has been pretty fault less after a recap. But was trying to play the secret of monkey island the whole system freezes at the same point every time. If i run the game with audio disabled it will run completely fine. What is likely causing...
