I have been using my Mac LC once every few days, and today when i went to turn it on the color was gone. Everything is B&W and i can no longer change the color of the display. Any ideas on what’s happening? I tried reseating and cleaning the ram and vram, and booting the mac from a hard drive...
Right sound chip legs are touching the pads (tested with traces), but when i was touching each leg of the chip to each other with the multimeter 3 of them were getting a continuity of 600 to 1000. Zoomed in 12x but I cant see any solder that could be bridging it. The multimeter didn't beep like...

PS: After leaving the IIci on for a while the screen displayed gray.
Replaced some SMD caps and tried to clean up 2 chips. It now powers on with no display or chime even with the rom simm. Pretty sure I messed up the right sound chip.
Yeah, the board is damaged pretty bad. I might just see if i can pay someone to help out with it. Even if i purchased the needed tools, i wouldn't know how to use them. Thank you for your advice, and il keep practicing.
EDIT: soaked the board in vinegar for 2 hours and then a hour of IPA. for 20...
Got some fresh solder and set my iron to 400c and reheated some chips. Reseated the vram. This is the new output on the screen.reheated the row of 7 chips in the 3rd photo and the cluster of 6 chips in the 2nd
