Goo Gone works the best I've used it on a couple of the 17" LCD's I have. It is a bit expenseve but well worth it as it does not take much. Just let it soak for a few mins and your good to go
I have few myself (about 300) from the mid sixty's to around 2003. After that I lost interest in the current music trend and got more in to light jazz/ambient music.
I use a Kenwood KD 500 Turntable and a Kenwood KA 405 Amplifier and Polk Audio Speakers for some really excellent listening...
A Good score on the Umax S900. You can look on the bottom of the case and see if it was a Dual CPU machine. It will have a S900D desigination on the bottom of the case.
I have one of these machines. Its running a Newertech G3 275/183 upgrade CPU in it as it originaly had the Dual 180MHz CPU's...
That's only true on some of the Sawtooth logicboards. The logicboard needs to have a Uni-n8 code on it and I believe there is a utility that you can run on it to check and see if it will.
I have lost the link to the utility. perhaps some one here may know what it is or you maybe able to check...
pull the battery, disconnect the Pram battery, hold the reset button in for about 20 seconds (reset button is next to Modem plug in) plug in the AC adaptor and push in the start button. It should power up. If does not.
