Hello MLAers! We've re-enabled auto-approval for accounts. If you are still waiting on account approval, please check this thread for more information.
Boy do I have some good news for you!
When you made an icon back in the day, you also had to make its alternative color versions so as you scaled down colors, for say like a game at 16 Colors or Black and White there would still be an icon.
So on both the black and the blue I went with this...
Hey Folks!
I've noticed a lot of YouTubers and others have changed their main drive name to "Macintosh SD." I've done the same! To that end I thought it was time to make a SD card icon for System 7.
Disclaimer: I am not an artist. I took some inspiration from some other icons and some AI...
I'd like to take a moment to add in a project I remixed. I did a CD Bezel for a Power Macintosh 6100. It was originally based on this design:

This one has been remixed by me to include a larger opening...
Howdy All.
Like the topic says, I had some pads that lifted when I was reseating U26 on an LCIII. I've attached a picture to show which chip I'm talking about. The traces are the ones at the bottom of the chip closet to the RAM slot. I can't quite see where the traces go for the two pads...
I can confirm that if you setup Netatalk 2.3+ (https://hub.docker.com/r/netatalk/netatalk2) in a docker container (I used portainer), on a QNAP NAS, you can link it to a shared folder, and older Macs using AppleShare can talk to it. If you need help doing that. PM me, and I will try to...
I tried the resistor mod myself, but only ended up with the death chime. I even moved the resistor back to R14, and still a death chime. I'm hoping the hot air rework station just cooked the resistor, but we will see. The risks we take I guess.
You can also, although it is obviously a security risk, allow guest access to a shared folder that you could specifically setup for old software, which is what I have done. Then you would still be able to use AppleShare to access the drive. I suspect, having a specific account won't work...
Could not find the special clear case one, so I had to go with the grey one. Although I believe by the time they're in the phone booths its a 500-series.
1. Yeah, that's what I'm referring too. You spend about 30-ish seconds from power on, with flashing disk icon until the PiSCSI boots. Once the linux OS is in place and the PiSCSI service starts, the flashing disk replaces with happy mac and its off and running. After that its pretty quick...
1. There is about a 30 second-ish boot time from the PiSCSI.
2. You can shutdown the Pi from the Web Interface at the bottom of the page. From what I’ve read on the threads on the git-hub page the issue has to do with caching to the drive when you just kill the power normally from shut down...

Hello Again!
After my successful installation of a RaSCSI (now PiSCSI) in a Powerbook Duo 280c, I took on a slightly different project which would allow me to tackle multiple challenges. This time, I took the case of an old Macintosh Classic, which I used some Retr0brighting to restore, and...
Hello All.
New to the forums, and wanted to share this. I originally posted this over on the RaSCSI github, but I figured you guys might be interested in it as well. I suspect this the right section of the forums to post in, but if I am in error, I will gladly change it. Happy Reading.
