Actually, you can use EDO RAM with a G3 Beige. The Grackle suppoirt SDRAM and EDO. https://www.journaldulapin.com/2022/07/11/power-mac-g3-edo/ Many northbridge from this era can use EDO or SDRAM, like Intel 440BX (i have tried too with an Asus P2B motherboard)

I have found a Kanji ROM Card for the Macintosh II, a NuBus card form Japan. I suppose the card contain Kanji font, like the Macintosh Plus ROM from Japan i have found earlier I have used SlotsDump to dump the ROM, but the size is only 4 KB. Is there a way to dump the ressources ? I assume...

Hi. This topic is old, but do you have a dump from the Duo Dock II ROM ? I try to extract the Easter Egg and my dump is not good.

There is no card on the Duo Dock II, only the dock itself. I join the debug log and capture from slot info

I have an error 1 with slots grab on the Duo Dock II. It works with another Mac.

So, the Easter Egg with a real Mac (Power Mac 6100/66). The message (Fall/Winter...) is not on the PICT. I suppose there is a thing with the Gestalt ID 31 (Paul's Desk machine) too.

Yes, the ROM inside the Mac was the 9FEB69B3. I'm not sure if this the original ROM, by the way, but the Mac is working with System 7.5 and Mac OS 8.6. I have tried with the 9B7A3AAD ROM and the Mac boot with System 7.5, but not with Mac OS 8.6 (i have an error).

It works with a real Power Mac 6100/66 ! (i have a spare ROM) ! I will try to make a video about that, thank you !
