Thanks for your reply. This shape looks difficult to machine. I originally considered using a thin iron sheet to achieve this shape by grinding, but now it does not seem to be easy. Your method is very clever and I plan to try it when I have time.
An alternative solution is to install a Linux system on a partition of the hard disk, such as the common Ubunutu, which can recognize mostly strange or ancient adapter and device. You can use this method to determine if your drive is faulty.
