Yes I've seen the site but thanks for reposting the link for others. I finally heard back from the guy that's making the grayscale adapters and he wants ... a price that makes me consider just making them myself...
If I sell one, which is somewhat likely if both test out okay, I'll be sure to post here about it. I won't be getting anymore from the same source though since that was the last SE/30 he had.
I was lucky enough to pickup a DayStar multi-adapter for a good price and an Ethernet card too before...
If you're looking at the finished eBay auction, that listing is $1200 for the adapter AND the Micron card, not just for the adapter. I saw the adapters on eBay awhile ago and they were no where near 1200, though they were still expensive for what they are.
This came out of an SE/30 with no hard drive. I'm assuming the drivers are somewhere out there on the net?
Also, wasn't there someone making the greyscale adapter kit? This has the extra socket for it but no adapter.
Yeah I had (still do) a real hard time figuring out if that was a female or male port. The picture is so blurry and the port is recessed in the casing so it got less light than the rest of the ports.
I figure worst case scenario I at least finally have an SE/30 case that looks like it just...
Looks like it may not have been so hard to find after all. If this is what I think it is, it'll be here Wednesday.

Cool. Oh wow they are selling those right-angle adapters for cheap! I didn't know what you meant at first but now I see the adapters allow you to keep the floppy drive much easier and allow for an add-on video card. It took me a second to find it but it looks like this is what you're referring...
I have this DayStar Turbo 040 40mhz Card & IIsi Adapter card.
But I was wondering if I can just use this accelerator card with my adapter in my SE/30?
That one is a 50Mhz model with co-processor which I don't think the one I have now has. I'm still waiting on the driver diskette for it...
While we're (sort of) on the topic of restoration, what do you guys use to replace the missing pads on the bottom of Apple mice? I'm talking about the two plastic...friction?...pads.
Okay that IIc looks gorgeous. And this is the first time I've seen/heard that you can just dunk everything in a big plastic container which makes me feel a lot better about trying this with some other stuff like my IIe.
I'll give this some more thought. I was actually considering painting the...
Ah, I didn't know ALL of them had that casing up to the SE/30. I'm not concerned about resale value for the whole machine since I'd just buy/trade for a proper SE/30 case to match the rest. I just want the thing to look nice and presentable and right now it looks pretty ugly. Since the casing...
