Yes, I did thank you so much! I was able to get the board working, I still have some work to do on the analog board and LSU but that will be easy. Thank you so much!
Does anyone have an LC575 logic board that can tell me the values of the these two components at L4 and C23 that are missing from my board? Please see the attached photos for more info.
Thank you!
Does anyone know where I can get an SE/30 board repaired in the US? I did a bad recap job, otherwise board is pretty clean. No video, need the whole board gone over by a pro.
Anyone know a good shop or someone that can repair a LC575 board? I bought a Performa LC575, it did not survive shipping, but the logic board seems to be ok except one spot of corrosion and a missing cap or resistor (see pics). I plan to put this in my CC. Its a hard to find board id like...
So the 575 arrived this morning. You were right, it was completely smashed up! The logic board looks to be in one piece but has some corrosion that I will need to figure out how to fix. Here are some pics for fun, I will try to salvage as many parts as I can. The screen somehow looks ok, has...
I bought this a Performa LC575 that was sold online and mislabeled as a mac monitor, obviously by someone that didn't know what they were selling. I have a Color Classic that ive been wanting to do the Mystic upgrade to. I need to figure out what I need to do to the LC575 before i attempt to...
Update: With the SE logic board in the SE/30 the monitor springs to life. So it is indeed the SE/30 logic board that is the problem. I was not expecting that, i literally sensed no activity from the screen or glow in the neck. Maybe i didn't wait long enough for the glow... The Samsung...
So then by swapping the analog board and PSU from the SE I know its not the flyback, analog board, or PSU because i get the below screen on the SE. So could it be the video board that plugs into the back of the yoke or the screen/tube its-self? I guess I should put everything back in the SE...
Can anyone tell me if the screen on an SE or SE/30 will do anything with a bad logic board? I am trying to restore an SE/30 that had a bad PSU and possibly more, when i got it it was dead. I recapped the logic board and analog board and got a new known working PSU from an SE dual drive. Hard...
I picked up this SE today for $30. Owner said he had not tested it had no plans for it. But it had a black power switch, it powers up and attempts to boot so at least i can use it to work on my SE/30 while I work on getting an additional PSU. I have the Sony cap kit so I will do that...
Going to see about an SE dual floppy tomorrow. I hope it has a Sony PSU inside, i'll use the cap kit on it and hope i can get a ATX solution for it sometime down the road. It's only 30 bucks, id buy it even if it didn't so its worth a shot.
Sorry for all of the posts, but I have been thinking about this issue with sourcing a PSU for the SE line, and thought of something. I was thinking about other devices that I have used that would likely have a small form factor PSU inside in the range we need. I thought the original xbox...
Would these work? Ship from the USA

I think im going to try to get an SE with a Sony PSU since I already have the cap kit and back burner the ATX until a source becomes available. I have a feeling ordering a PSU from china right now is going to take a long time.
