    today I tried to open the mac but my torx screwdriver was a little short. Tomorrow I will buy a longer screw driver and try again. Thanks for your help Phreakout. I appreciate that. Tomorrow I'll post my results on the website.

    Question about a hard drive on a Mac SE/30

    I have the original hard drive Mac SE/30 with OS 6. I just purchased a Quantum Fireball ST Hard Drive 50 Pin 2GB 3.5. This hard drive was in another Mac SE/30 with OS 7.5.5. If I replacing it, hard disk works without doing anything or will not work OS 7.5.5? Thanks in advance Francis
