Yesterday I scored three more machines, two of them 68k's and one of them just plain awesome. I haven't really had a chance to check out the specs on the two 68k's but I know what they are:
* Quadra 660AV with AAUI to RJ-45 ethernet adapter
* Performa 405 (looks like an LC case--education...
I have a PowerMac G4 500MHz that runs Tiger well. Before upgrading from Panther, however, I bumped the RAM to 512MB, and I think that's probably made the difference.
Back in my day, someone posting about Dells in the "Conquests" forums would've been shot on sight ;)

[EDIT] Really, you may as well get a Sawtooth on eBay--they're...
What Mike Richardson said ;) but it's beside the point because that was just background on how I scored this load of Macs. If it'll make you feel better, I'll edit the post...

I now work at a computer store. One of our other repair techs ran out of room for old Macs (all of us have 68k collections) and offered me some...
My SE SuperDrive's hard disk makes this sound: " ."
Mainly because it won't spin up, and the access light stays on, leaving me with a high density floppy-driven Mac with only 1MB of RAM. Which sucks.
I'd trade a loud hard drive noise for my Classic II's...
