Just picked it up. It came with the original system disks, a Leopard DVD, airport, original keyboard, mouse, and an iSight camera. On the downside no hard drive and a bad DVD drive. I threw in a 500gb drive as well as a CDRW drive I had laying around from an old PC and some more ram to up the...

I bought the receiver for the mouse and it works great. The mouse has a nice feel in my hand. Its buttons and wheels can be fully configured with many function options. Not bad for a $17 investment.
I was given a grab bag of small electronics stuff yesterday that contained two black Apple pro mice, a Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse, and a Logitech MX Revolution mouse. The MX Revolution works but does not have the usb receiver. I may buy one. Anyone have one of these mice? If how to you...
I have an opportunity to pickup a graphite iMac locally. The asking price is $25. All the owner knows about it is that it works. The image he posted shows an Apple pro keyboard with it. I know the graphite model ranged from 400 to 700mhz. I may go check it out. Did the 400mhz model come...
After some research I decided to pass on it. I'm more into finding a later model G4 tower. However after using Ubuntu I have to say that the Sony RX860 I'm running it on has impressed me. I may be on the lookout for a more modern PC tower to run Ubuntu on instead.
I have an opportunity to buy a 1.25 ghz eMac for $50. 512mb ram, 80 gb hard drive, DVD/CDRW. I'm told it works well and is in very good condition. It comes with a mouse and keyboard. Local pickup. Go for it? Thanks.
I was recently given an Apple canvas carrying case/bag. I have never seen one like it and am not sure what it was used for. I am attaching a couple of images of it. One internal pouch looks like it was meant for 5.25 inch floppies. Anyone out there have any ideas? Thanks.
I may have an opportunity to pick up the following for free.
One Mac SE with 20MB internal HD & Gemini 68030 card
One Mac SE/30 with 20MB internal HD
One Mac IIcx with tabloid b/w monitor
Even though I gave away all my 68ks a while back I may go for it. I'm told they all work.
I loaded os 9.2.2 and 10.3.9 on it. The only problem it has is that CDs have trouble ejecting all the way. Any thoughts on how to fix this? I took the bottom cover off and the drive looks pretty clean inside.
From a local Freecycle pickup. Blueberry 400mhz DVD. 256mb ram and 10gb hard drive. Needs a keyboard. So far it works fine. Not sure what I'll do with it. Maybe I'll use it for classic OS games. This was the first conquest for me in quite a while. :)
I was going to wait but when I read about the possibility of it getting an Atom cpu I decided to buy one now. I wonder if it will end up more like a netbook as far as it's capabilities.
After alot of thought and a brief consideration of Ubuntu I went to a local Apple Store and made a decided to pickup a Mac Mini after trying it out at the store. It fits my needs well since I have a nice display already with a built in USB hub. I went for the 2ghz model with a 2gb ram upgrade.
