    Katheryn's Conquests!

I think "holy cow" is appropriate. Nice score. :)

    Durosity’s conquests and collection

@Durosity Here's an Amazon link with the ISBN and stuff. Here's a PDF copy you can view on Archive.org. And here's a Disk Image of my copy.

    A 512k with a surprise inside

Great job with the case badge. If you find any other Macs with accelerators that are missing their badges, just let me know. I've scanned in a large collection of them and converted them to vector. Would make importing them into CAD and extruding them for a 3D printer pretty easy.

MODTracker audio replay on early 68k macs

If it matters at all, as a non-programmer, I discovered that the AI coding agents will actually produce useable code for THINK C. I tried for many, many hours to get it to do anything for CodeWarrior with zero success. I think it's because the code it steals for THINK C is, by necessity, clean...

    A 512k with a surprise inside

@macinbot That's a good idea. Just a plastic bezel to clip in and hide the rough edges.

DeskScene by PBI Software - Anyone seen it?

@finkmac Nice sleuthing. The .cpt is just a picture, but the executable looks to be correct. :) Too bad it's not a disk image, but it's a start. Should be a bootable floppy disk. Perhaps I can reconstruct it. Thanks!

Hootswitch, a (work-in-progress) Apple Desktop Bus switch

You know, with the WootSwitch being a branch of the HootSwitch, you sure missed an opportunity to call it a SwitchSwitch. :D

iMmaculate iMac Late 2011 21.5"... With a HUGE problem!

If this is the kind of iMac with a magnetic screen that's easily removable with a suction cup, then you can try the RAM trick. On some models of Intel Macs, removing a stick of RAM to change the total amount of RAM and booting it will also remove the firmware lock. Incidentally, I also kept...

Pantone Spray Paint to Match classic Macs?

I've read that the already premixed "Heavy Hammock" you can get at stores (PPG1027-3) is a very close match to Apple beige. Here it is next to an actual paint sample of Apple beige from a touchup kit direct from Apple.

DeskScene by PBI Software - Anyone seen it?

Has anyone seen this Desk Accessory for System 6 before? It's called DeskScene by PBI Software. It appears to let you set a full picture for your desktop instead of a desktop pattern. I know there are likely many others like it, but I couldn't find much information on this particular one...

    joshc conquests

The cassowary is also fascinating, and is one freaking mean bird. It's been known to kill people. Even Steve Irwin was said to have never messed around with it, and he messed around with all sorts of dangerous animals. There was also the (now extinct) Haast's eagle. It was originally...

Quadra 700 Mainboard in IIcx case ...

Would be neat to have a run of 3rd party universal IIci/Quadra style case with interchangeable port cover along the bottom. I'd style it like a Quadra 700 so it could sit vertically, but I'd make it so the logo can be rotated (like the Playstation 2) so it's legible in either tower or desktop...
